SMS Terms & Conditions

These terms cover the text messaging program offered by Holdsworth MMA LLC, operating as Chris Holdsworth’s Jiu-Jitsu Academy (the “Academy”).

Messages you may receive

When you separately opt in to the relevant category, we may send informational texts about your inquiries, trial classes, appointment confirmations and reminders, schedule changes, membership services, and customer support. If you opt in to marketing texts, we may send Academy offers, program updates, and invitations to classes or events. Consent to one category does not automatically enroll you in the other.

Your choice and consent

Text participation is optional. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. Providing your phone number by itself does not authorize marketing texts. We send texts to the number you provide after you give the applicable consent. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use that number. Parents or guardians may opt in to communications about a child’s training using their own phone number.

Frequency and costs

Message frequency varies based on your interactions, bookings, and selected communications. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.

Stop messages

Reply STOP to any Academy text to unsubscribe. You may receive a final confirmation of your request; after that, we will stop sending texts unless you opt in again. You can contact us by email or phone to use Academy services without SMS.

Delivery

Text delivery depends on your carrier, device, network availability, and other factors. Wireless carriers bear no responsibility for messages that arrive late or fail to arrive.

Privacy

Read our Privacy Policy for how we handle information. We do not share mobile information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging service providers may process information only as needed to operate the program on our behalf.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes do not replace any consent required to send messages.
