A Safe, Structured Program for Beginners
No previous martial arts experience is required. Techniques are taught step by step, and students practice with partners in a supervised setting. Coaches organize classes by age, size, experience, and maturity whenever possible so children can learn at an appropriate pace.
New students focus on fundamentals, controlled drilling, and good training habits before being introduced to more challenging live practice. Safety, respect, and responsible behavior are part of every class.
Learn From Chris Holdsworth and His Coaching Team
Chris Holdsworth is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, undefeated former UFC fighter, and winner of The Ultimate Fighter Season 18. He has spent more than two decades training, teaching, and coaching martial arts.
Chris and his coaching team combine high-level experience with patient, age-appropriate instruction. The focus is helping every child make meaningful progress—not creating pressure or an intimidating atmosphere.

What ages can join the Kids Jiu-Jitsu program?
Our kids program is designed primarily for ages 6–14. Some mature five-year-olds may be a fit after meeting the coaches and trying a class.
Does my child need experience?
No. Complete beginners are welcome, and coaches teach the fundamentals in a clear, step-by-step format.
Does my child need a uniform for the trial class?
Contact us before your visit and we will tell you exactly what to wear and whether the class is Gi or No-Gi.
Will my child have to spar immediately?
No. New students can begin with warm-ups, technique, and controlled drilling. Coaches introduce live practice when it is appropriate.
Can parents watch class?
