Lou is my first black belt and one of the most accomplished competitors and knowledgeable instructors on our team.
He has competed successfully under virtually every major grappling ruleset, giving him a deep understanding of competition strategy, training-camp preparation, weight management, nutrition, and performance optimization. Lou works well with students of every age and experience level—from young children and first-day beginners to seasoned competitors and professional athletes.
His technical specialties include back attacks, butterfly guard, leg locks, wrestling up, and pressure-based guard passing.
